An overall good movie and an alright successor to Raid, with grander scale, more twists and turns and a more charismatic corrupt politician. However it's predictable and slow in the first half but delivers in the second.
The songs however continued with story but were abrupt, they broke pace of the movie. Creators gave a sad back story to Dada Bhai so you feel for him. And the problems were solved way too easily in the end. Little comfortable writing.
And the characters that were changed, just swap Ileana for Vani? And also not many characters returned from first movie, however it was explained due to transfers saga. Tauji was the charm of it, whenever he came, movie got attractive
Dada Bhai was soul of it, the charm, the attitude. Ajay Devgan was good as he is. Vaani didn't had much to do. Lallan & Amma were two well written and acted characters.
Overall a good movie.
It was good that they didn't go on to repeat the first movie, they went bigger and it turned out alright. The reunion in jail looked forced though. And if you consider reality which we should not, the movie is highly fictional.
