The content of the movie was pretty good. What was more impressive to me is the planning that needed to go into this to do it all in one take. And the way they handed off who was in the scene was very good.
Having sniffed out the new stuff, the hero goes to a party, picking up a girl on the way. She is possessed by rabies, having escaped from the lab, and is the spitting image of a zombie. But of course he thinks: Oh, how high! An epidemic of evil infection from the carriers themselves, together with the virus, the camera moves to the next one. Fresh, creepy, but fun!
I was very impressed with Laurie Pavy's performance. Hopefully some movie makers notice her talent.
This was such a great horror movie. It was original, and everything about it (music, acting, writing, directing, color, etc) was so well done. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Euphoria with no Zendaya, but Zombies
I wanted to add a belated note mentioning the special nature and accomplishment of this film, which appears to have genuinely been shot in a single take.
A film very open to interpretation, my thoughts on it shifted significantly over the course of my viewing experience. I wasn't sure what it was doing or where it was going.
Several actors put it all on the line. They truly committed. I found myself startled, bemused, laughing, and in awe by the performances on display.
Weeks later, the dust still hasn't settled in my head on this. This movie may get a repeat viewing in the coming year.
A movie with a gimmick but the technique and ambition is super impressive. It makes it feel a bit long even with a short runtime but makes the dread even more effective
A crazy, one shot escapade of chaos. Dark science fiction.
Oh jees, what the hell I've just seen.
Pure shit.
