Phasmophobia, now with MORE HELLBOY! Uhhh despite that concept though... He's weirdly not that relevant here. This feels like an inverse of the first movie in that there isn't some B-Plot taking away screentime, this one is clearly a lot more focused... In theory. But now we're darting between all the character perspectives on the SAME situation, but since they all have identical thoughts on it, it ends up feeling light on real content and as a result the character stuff here ends up falling flat. Not helping is a good 50% of this film's dialogue could be charitably called exposition dumps. The third act does a lot of heavy lifting to make things more fun, but up until that point a lot of this film ends up falling flat.
