Red Sonja

I enjoyed this movie. Good action, interesting story, not too long and a nice easy watch. 👍 Sets up for the next movie in the Franchise. 👍 Looking forward to it. Red Sonja 2!

This was really not good, incredibly cheesy and a terrible story (yes I'm aware of how bad the original is). I'm not sure if they should have gone _more_ serious or leaned into the silly-retro more?, but it just didn't connect for me.
Matilda Lutz was amazing to watch, like always, but I don't think she's enough to pull the movie up. The score was pretty good.

Yes there's a lot wrong with it but at its core it's a retro old school sword and sorcery b grade movie, which is something I can appreciate. Plus, no stupid marvel style rock soundtracks or humour. It takes itself seriously and even has a fully composed music score just like they used to have. Thumbs up just for the effort.
