David Attenborough has dedicated his life showing us the beauty of our planet and trying to make us see how important it is to preserve our environment for our own sake.
Once more he's showing us how to do it but honestly my hope isn't as high as his. Why ? While it is true that public protesting stopped whaling on an industrial scale years ago I don't see something like this happening today concercing ocean protection.

People seem much more concerned about gender pronouns and that we speak in an inclusive way. They go crazy if they loose followers on their social media but mostly don't know how many species we loose every day.

Governments are in agreement that things needo be done but it's always the others that have to do it first. And who's going to pay for it anyway ? Right, also the others.

As long as those things stay the same we don't get real change. Just cosmetics and mybe a couple years probation before the ineviatable.

I know I'm preacing. Doesn't make it less right, though.

8/10.
The visuals were stunning, and Sir David was a total legend as always, super calm, super smart. Learned a ton.
If you feel inspired after watching this, check out Mission Blue they’re protecting special parts of the ocean called Hope Spots. Super cool stuff. 🌊💙

Too Preachy. Let's be real none of us have any power over what China, India and others pump into the ocean sad as it is.

As always great visuals but I kind of feel I've seen it all before.
