Cold Prey II

some dumb choices by jannicke that made me cringe but overall an entertaining movie with nice outdoor scenes

The best I can say about this is this and the first one match the original Halloween and Halloween 2 movies.

The original was neat idea and worked well once it got going, this one plays out much the same as Halloween 2, stuck in a hosopital [spoiler] where our previous killer comes back to life to continue his late night killing spree, this one has a bit more action from local law enforcment who also get swiftly taken out. [/spoiler]

I agree with @SigHunter though with the main lead jannicke making some silly mistakes, for example she wants nothing to end this and kill the guy responsible for murdering everyone even her lover and closest friends, [spoiler] she loses it in the morgue banging on him. Yet when she gets the chance to fire a few rounds into him she doesn't, what do you think happens next, he wasn't where he fell, classic. I can forgive the odd cliche even if predictable, it was just like a really> moment. [/spoiler]

I got to like jannicke and her character, I was surpirsed they didn't try to make any more of these, and let it end there unlike some franchises, I have heard the third one which is a prequel to the series featuring new characters is terrible so there is that,

Interestingly aside from jannicke (Ingrid Berdal) some of the others have very few if any roles aside from this including Marthe Snorresdotter Rovik who has only been cast in one other film years after this which is a shame as the talent here was pretty good.

All in all an enjoyable horror, thriller, I recommend checking it out.
