Rewatching this now has such a bittersweet feeling to it. This is the tour that i went to, this was in the high point of my one direction fandom days. Theres a sweetness to the nostalgia, to looking back on my days as a teenage girl, to the music that formed me into who i am today. But as a 26 year old man, as an adult, so fresh off the news of Liam Paynes death, there's a deep sadnesss too. They were kids. They got their dreams, and im proud of all that they did. But even then you could see the urge they had to go back to a normal life, the way they wanted their lives to go. It breaks my heart that they didnt get to stay as close and together as they grew up. It hurts so much seeing Liam and the dreams he was chasing. He deserved a longer life, a chance to do better. Seeing his parents talk about how often he was gone is devastating and I'm thinking of them tonight. I hope they have the love and support they need, and i hope they know that their son was adored worldwide. I hope Liam knew that too. I hope he's at peace now. He really deserves it.
