arrogance is Satan's favorite sin. arrogance and ambition blind one's eyes and become unable to see even the most precious being. There may be a comeback in the movies, but they won't survive.

The devil directs and observes our sins. Let us not be vain.

The Devil’s Advocate is a wickedly fun 10/10 ride that proves that if you’re going to dance with the Devil, you better bring your best moves—and maybe a lawyer. With Pacino’s scenery-chewing, Reeves’ crisis of conscience, and Theron’s haunting breakdown, this film reminds you that ambition is a hell of a drug, and vanity? Well, that’s just the Devil’s cherry on top.

I don't know how to describe the feeling I felt when I saw this work, I just know that what I felt, I will never feel in another movie.

The world is consumed by vanity, but the ball is still in the game, we have a choice, even if we play against the masterful talent of Pacino.

The reason Al Pacino's
satan
character in this movie is so scary is because he's just a smooth talking normal person. Too relatable.

The film delivers the message: “Pride is my favorite sin.”
The story follows a young lawyer who has never lost a case. He defends a teacher accused of harassing a student, and although it seems he might lose, he decides to back down. However, a journalist’s comment about him not being able to win every case pushes him to continue—and he ends up winning.

He then receives an offer from the largest law firm in New York. Despite his mother’s disapproval, he accepts. There, he becomes wealthy and famous, only to discover that the devil himself owns the firm. His mother later tells him that the devil is his father, who now demands he father the third Antichrist. This leads to a massive internal conflict
