This is the best DC animated movie ever, hands down!

Great story, very dark. You always get the best stories when you twist everything. Animation wasn´t great but that´s the only minus.

My only prior experiences with the Flash are the first four seasons of the Arrowverse show, and that show definitely borrows a lot from this movie, and I'm sure surrounding the media. But something that hinders that show also hinders this movie, and that's whenever something becomes CGI, it looks out of place and not as good as everything else. I love the story, a lot of the characters felt fleshed out in interesting ways and the Superman arc was really dark.

First saw this with my 9 year old daughters at the time it came out. I remember we were getting more and more shocked and more and more elated as the super heroes started dying. It was seriously awesome. I just rewatched it to see if it was as good as I remembered. It is as good even though part of what was great was the surprise of them butchering each other which you do not get the second time around. As all the other reviewers have said the story is phenomenal, the alternate characters are great, the animation is so-so but acceptable. My daughter claims Under the Red Hood is her favorite (and I don’t remember it) so I’m going to watch that next. Oh and if you like this, check out the animated series Invincible and make sure to make it all the way to the end of the first episode before turning it off…

Great storyline, adult cartoon, but the drawings are terrible, horrible traces and bizarre anatomy!

One of the best DC movies.

After really enjoying the new "The Flash" film, I was pleased to find out that the films story was based on the same story in this animated film! I enjoyed this take as well, even if I preferred the live action adaptation!
