This film felt like someone took a Woody Allen movie, removed the music and extended the scenes. The male lead certainly talked like Allen and had insecurities like Allen. That said, despite Allen's forays into making movies overseas I can't remember him investigating the affects of cultural differences in a relationship in the same way this movie does. Overall it was a decent film.
