Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

On a trekking trip, an introverted Naina falls for a charming ex-classmate, whose thirst for adventure drives them apart. Years later, their paths cross again.

Rewatching this movie on re-release after a long time. I appreciate the cinematography a lot more along with the subtleties of the relationships between Bunny, Naina, Avi and Aditi. There’s pain of one sided love relationships and deep realisations. I rated this movie as an 8 and on rewatch feel like it should be a 9-10.
The movie isn’t perfect. But I don’t think this gets the love it should. A decade later, the songs hold up. They still sound great. The lines are still iconic too. This movie holds up to the test of time. If you haven’t seen it, you should watch it now.
Just rewatched it after a long time, and it totally feels different. Normally, the movie is all about Bunny’s energy, but this time I also felt his sadness. **This movie always motivates me to travel, and it still does — even with the sadness it carries.** ==Nothing is perfect, even when you’re living your dream life — and that’s the beauty of life.==
Just gonna say, watch the following video — your perspective will change for real: https://youtu.be/T4UdO2CZ3nE?si=-Cfts1KJ8ZqaXlxf
