The very fact that this has 59% positive rating vs. Fred Claus 65% is very telling of the kind of bullshit the people who frequent this site find "good". This film is funny, it's creative, its heart felt and on par with some of Vaughn's best films.

Couples Retreat brings together a great ensemble cast, lighthearted humor, and the kind of fast-talking, situational comedy you’d expect from a Vince Vaughn film. While it doesn’t break new ground, the tropical setting, entertaining banter, and solid chemistry among the cast make it a fun watch. It’s not a comedy classic, but it definitely gets more hate than it deserves.

_Couples Retreat_ is an enjoyable comedy with a great cast. If you're a fan of Vince Vaughn and Jason Bateman's style of humor, then this movie is definitely worth a watch. The humor is definitely raunchy at times, but it never feels forced or over the top. The movie also has some heartwarming moments that add depth to the characters and their relationships. The humor may not be for everyone, but if you're a fan of Vaughn and Bateman's comedies, then you're likely to enjoy this one.

One funny Yoga scene and thats about it..and thats pushing it

Wow. What a horrible, unfunny movie. Really, no interesting characters, no compelling plotlines. Anything remotely approaching a joke is telegraphed miles away. Really sad.

Had no idea this was directed by Ralphie from "A Christmas Story"

One of the very worst films I've ever seen; direction and script are insane. The best part is Bowie's "Modern Love" playing as the film starts - other than that, this is just horrendous.
