The tension in this film never lowers, it's adrenaline inducing. Focus more on a small part of the conflict but it's just so good

I honestly had no idea this movie existed until I came up in my movie club! Is it something I would turn on for casual enjoyment? Not at all. BUT, I’m glad I’ve seen this remarkable movie and those that love historical dramas will likely love this film!

Rating: 3.5/5 - 8/10 - Would Recommend

It's a hard movie to watch. The world is a shitty place because of some people's lust for power and control. Because some people think they are better or more deserving. Yes, there are many good people, too. We see examples for both in this story.

Unfortunately those things still happen.

Good movie overall. It gets intense at times but still feels sugar-coated compared to what really happened. Would’ve been nice to see a bit of the RPF actually stepping in to stop the genocide instead of making it all about one dude. They also glorified Paul way too much — reality is, the real hero back then was Roméo Dallaire. Solid movie, but missing a bit of the real rawness.

This sort of true stories are impressive and sad at the same time. It shows the worst and best of humanity and it does that well.

it was a good movie but it showed us a very little parts of the civil war and focused on the main character and his family only I gave it 7.5/10

It was incredibly hard to watch. It shows only a tiny part of what actually happened there. The world should have had pay more attention to this. WE should have had to pay attention. It cannot happen again. Nowhere in the world.
