It's a bit of a paint-by-numbers erotic thriller, but it's entertaining enough, and there are some really hot scenes.

_Body of Evidence_ is a mediocre and convoluted erotic thriller. A lawyer defending a woman accused of murdering her wealthy boyfriend finds himself being seduced by her. Starring Madonna, Willem Dafoe, Joe Mantegna, Anne Archer, and Julianne Moore, the film has a pretty good cast. And the murder mystery is fairly intriguing, with a number of twists and turns. However, the writing is rather poor, and there’s a certain tawdriness to the sex scenes (which could be intentional but doesn’t really develop the characters). Also, the film ends quite abruptly, leaving several plot threats ambiguous. Yet while it’s kind of a mess, _Body of Evidence_ is entertaining and has an engaging mystery.
