Project A has everything a proper Jackie Chan movie needs. Insane stunts, highly choreographed fight scenes, and a dash comedic stupidity.

Does it rank up there with Jackie Chans best work?

I would say it almost does...the story slows down a bit much right before the end, and some of the scenes are a bit too "over" choregraphed, but hey...it's a highly watchable action flick and is mostly very entertaining.

If you are a fan of Jackie Chan this is a movie for you.

One of the best Chan flicks. Written, directed, starring in countless fight scenes choreographed so well. The story may not be a crowning achievement of writing but they rarely are.

Watching these older films really is a reminder of how brilliant Jackie Chan is. It's not necessarily a great movie, and the dubbing on the version I watched was awful. But that is more than compensated for by the fight scenes, the comedy, the stunts, especially considering the age of this movie. Chan and Sammo Hung are in their prime in this movie.

Highly recommended viewing
