This was a good but at times slow movie retelling of Mandela’s fight for and waiting for freedom for not only himself but also all Black South Africans.
It focuses on Mandela’s and de Kleek’s negotiations for the future of South Africa where everyone has a voice… one person one vote.
It shows the struggles both Mandela had within and outside of the ANC and de Klerk had with his side. Also the struggles each had to find the common path forward to the future of South Africa.
It is a good movie that helps you understand the historical context and what happened… but is not a really engaging movie.
