Everything about this movie looked terrible to me before seeing it. I assumed it was just a lame, dumb comedy that would have nothing unique or interesting at all.

I was very wrong about this assumption. Turns out this is a really good comedy using genre staples very well. Probably the biggest upside is that they created a strong lead female character. The jokes aren't really about how she's a terrible choice for an agent. Instead, it is often showing her as very good at her job, just in unconventional ways. That is a big plus, the fact that they don't take a sexist route was the biggest surprise for me.
