The Assassin

The film is really lovely, and the scenes are so beautiful and rustic. It's a lovely, slow film, which is how they wanted it to be.

Oh, and it's a really lovely sleep film! 😹😹😹

Well, to be a murderer, a little murderer, more focused on the environment, politics and family

*Sigh* maybe it's jut low blood sugar on my part. But
Cinematography sometimes good sometimes not so - little things like shooting through the curtain. Once we were outside it was like a breath of fresh air. Some really nice shots but everything went on for so long.
Editing - almost every scene could have been cut and you'd be fine. So little dialogue so no exposition or character building. But you'd sit there for an extra ten seconds.
Story - who was everyone. The main character is hardly on the screen most of the time. Although I don't want a blood bath she assassinates one person at the very start. There's an interesting character you never even know who it is.
I just had no idea who and why anything was actually happening.

I don't want to put anything about what happens in the film as no need to spoil it. Go see it through. Some people love it but story wise snore. Film must be a balance between visuals and the story to me this isn't.

Not even close .... bad movie!!Hard to finish it!

Obtuse, stuffed with characters but sadly lacking in story, plot, dialogue and action. The main character had maybe five lines of dialogue in the whole movie, we never really understand anyone's motivations and often shots either feel overly long or badly composed (shot through curtains, so many curtains... or foliage), or both.

my admiration goes to the sound effects that caught my attention first then the set production, both were beautifully executed to serve the story
