Love this movie. And what a weird wonderful movie it is. And lead performance! Also.....there are like 4 familiar faces in this cast from when they were young, I think the biggest one is that it's Patricia Richardson's first role, aka Jill from Home Improvement! Crazy.
What a completely bizarre flick. First time watching, with the VS release. At times feels like a dream, other times feels like the mind of a total psychotic breakdown of man who loves and is also scarred after finding out Santa doesn't exist... what a performance by Brandon Maggart!
A re-watch to break in that Vinegar Syndrome Blu!
Strangely enough, while watching this, I got nostalgic for a working class New York community that's largely a thing of the past. Factories? Community associations holding Christmas parties? Manufacturing is gone. I haven't gone to a party since the 80s.
The opening to this 80s horror is decent enough but it descends into the realms of mediocrity fairly quickly.
A rather bizarre holiday horror film, Christmas Evil doesn’t seem to know that it’s doing. The story follows a worker at a toy factory who snaps and tries to become Santa Claus; breaking into homes to give toys to children and taking murderous vengeance on the naughty. The script is poorly written, as the plot is hard to follow and it’s unclear what the main character’s plan is. Also, the chases and kill scenes aren’t done very well. Still, there are a few frightening and intense moments. A problematic film, Christmas Evil is a jumbled mess.
Firstz half was good the rest crap...
Awful acting, boring story, never watching this garbage again
