I fucking love Salt.

Objectively, it’s not a jaw dropping movie, but really when are spy thriller movies ever? This is the spiritual predecessor to Atomic Blonde and it got a lot less attention than Atomic Blonde did, because perhaps it was ahead of its time. It’s a lot less stylish, sexy and slick as Atomic Blonde, while Salt is more Bourne-esque in style and tone.

Does this movie pass the Bechdel test? Probably not, but that’s okay because it features Angelina Jolie being the absolute badass that she is in taking control of her own fate and subverting the dictatorial powers that seek to control her.

While this probably isn’t the best movie considering the current political atmosphere, it’s still a fantastic spy movie and a great action role for Angelina Jolie. Evelyn Salt is unrelenting and unforgiving and I really freaking love her. It’s so satisfying to see a female spy know exactly what she’s doing and there is no exposition or explaining of why she’s doing the things she’s doing. I wish we would get a Salt 2, but it’s been 8 years now and so unfortunately it probably will never happen.

So hoping for a sequel, great movie.

Was expecting a dry political thriller, instead got a kick ass action movie. Pleasantly surprised.

A really exciting, fast-moving action flick with a brilliant Angeline Jolie. The movie wouldn't be the same without her. Even though I did not understand all the aspects of the story (sometimes during the film you really don't know what to believe), at the end the pieces are coming together nicely.

What is really obvious for me is that this film clearly was meant to be the start of maybe a trilogy or whole franchise. Now, seven years after this movie's release, we still don't have a new installment, which is very unfortunate in my opinion.

Overall I really liked this movie and still hope there will be SALT 2 with Angeline Jolie in the near future.

Angelina Jolie delivers a powerhouse performance in the spy thriller _Salt_. When CIA agent Evelyn Salt is accused of being a double agent, she must go rogue in order to prove her innocence. The supporting cast includes Liev Schreiber and Chiwetel Ejiofor, who both give good performances. Additionally, the film takes some clever turns that are unexpected, and is full of high-adrenaline chases and fight sequences. It’s definitely over-the-top, but _Salt_ is fun and wildly entertaining.

In love with Angelina in this movie with an improbable plot,but pretty entertaining .

I always like action movies and with Angelina Jolie as the lead character it couldn't go wrong ... I'd recommend this to someone who wants to see an awesome woman kick ass without caring much about a plausible plot!!

Weird, I didn't like Evelyn at first but after 45 minutes I liked her and the movie. From almost quitting the movie and rate 4 or so to a solid 8. That's a first.
