The Pyramid

Absolutely terrifying. Edge of your seat stuff once it gets going and gets scarier and scarier as the film goes on. It then reaches its shocking ending. Won’t find much better horrors than this. 10/10.

This movie deserves a higher rating than the 55% here (at the time of writing this comment). It delivers the scares and thrills expected from such a movie. An unauthorised exploration of a creepy ancient pyramid goes horribly wrong. This is the kind of movie that used to give birth to a video game franchise back in the day. I still think it's not too late to expand this universe. Such a missed opportunity.

Decent ideas, execution could have been better.

I mean I didn't hate it. It wasn't great, the pull here is Denis O'Hare being a sensational actor as always. It was a fun concept, but trash ending.

Ending was like: ok, o enought money, lets do it fast. . . sucks

Decided to check this out because I thought it would be like Blair Witch Project meets The Mummy. It kinda started off that way but then went to crap toward the end of the movie. Once Anubis shows up it just got really cheesy.

The first couple of members of the archeological team really go through some painful injuries. The characters do some stupid things (of course) and the creature is kind of neat until you notice how bad the CGI is. Nora and Sunni were fun to look at, but outside of that, there's nothing to see here.

Movie to fall in sleep, pff waste of time

If you want to see a movie about a group of archaeologists hopelessly trying to find a way out of a pyramid while being hunted down by bad CGI monsters for 89 minutes, then this is the movie for you :D

Bad acting and just an overall bad movie. Don't waste your time.
