Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

As much as the story itself doesn't make any sense to me, the actors and the characters they play are so damn good I ended up loving the movie anyway! #CaptainJackSparrow

The most visually spectacular, action-packed and surreal of the adventures of Capt. Jack Sparrow.

Great movie. The battle at the end of the movie was very satisfying, and it was left open for the possibly for a forth movie.

A great finale to an awesome trilogy. Loved everything except the dumbass bossgirl speech from Elizabeth to motivate an army of murderers and thiefs.

Much, much too long. But it is a wild ride and worth it under the right conditions. Elizabeth gets a chance to shine in this!

It is hard to believe that Jack was about to stab the heart but hesitated just a minute too long and changed the fate of the Turners' lives forever. But Will being cursed and alive is better than being dead, so he made the right decision there.

I find that my favorite Pirates movie constantly changes but this installment I always found especially entertaining.

The movie has an odd sort of musical opening but it works for me and even gives me goosebumps.

With nearly 3 hours it's a long adventure and I do feel that length every time. However it keeps my attention for the most part and it has easily the best action scenes in the entire series. The epic fights, particularly [spoiler] the Maelstrom and the slow-motion destruction of the Endeavour[/spoiler], are visually stunning.

All the characters in this movie are fun and very well portrayed,[spoiler] Geoffrey Rush probably being my favorite portraying Barbossa. Although I do miss the scarier side of Barbossa and the more mysterious / creepy Davy Jones[/spoiler].

I do find that the ending drags on a bit, that is to say,[spoiler] there are a bunch of endings for all the different characters. However I do love the Elizabeth-Will ending on the beach.[/spoiler] It's a beautiful scene with my favorite score from this movie, 'One Day', composed by the legendary Hans Zimmer.

The ending teases the plot for the fourth movie which sadly is my least favorite of the series.

I know it's not the best of the series but it's an incredibly entertaining movie that delivers a satisying conclusion to the original trilogy.

A very long but good and entertaining movie. Will and Elizabeth's ending on the beach is so tragic but also very epic!

The second part of the Jack Sparrow saga lacks the novelty factor of the initial movie but for the rest it is just as well made with just as great acting and still a very good story that lifts it way above average as fat as action comedies go. Do not miss it!

[spoiler]"Hoist The Colors" fits perfectly into Pirates of the Caribbean. I was enchanted by this song, especially in the opening scene of the film. The action starts early, continuing the story from the second film, and it's fascinating to see Elizabeth Swann's evolution from the first to the third film. I've always thought that the characters in Pirates of the Caribbean are well developed, with the narrative going beyond Jack Sparrow. I can't help but mention how well constructed the franchise's setting is, and in the third film they managed to surpass themselves. The naval battle at the end is spectacular, capturing the entire essence of the pirate universe, as well as being incredibly well executed. An excellent ending to this incredible trilogy. I still intend to watch the other two "standalone" films to understand why they are so criticized.[/spoiler]
