Superb film, absolutely breathtaking. I couldn't find a single frame that didn't keep me enthralled.

Honestly, I don't feel like knocking off any points for the small flaws I did notice. Some of the accents might have been a bit thick, and maybe it did take me a moment to realize that the "new" boy was actually an older version of the same kid, but meh… Those are tiny details, and the script was otherwise quite tight.

If I sat and thought about it for long enough, I'm sure I could find a plot hole or two to bring down my score, but why bother? There's no reason to go out of my way to tear down such a masterfully executed film.

You should go see this. It's definitely worth the two hour investment.

The horror to be a Jew there, but to be a polish citizen and not be able to try and sneak out jews to survive would be more of a scar on a soul of a caring human being than any physical torture. The body gives after so much strain. The heart and soul do not.

The title would not be The Warsaw Zoo. At least in Netflix streaming the title is like this. I watched this film early in the year.

This is a masterpiece of a movie.
It's also an important movie, just like all the other WWII movies. They remind us of the horrors of what happened, and we mustn't forget about them. We also mustn't forget to thank and praise people like the Zabinski family, who kept true to what humanity is supposed to be.
Jessica Chastain is also a blessing.

I don't really care for Nazi era movies and not a big fan of Jessica Chastain. But I absolutely loved this film.

I´m not sure if the word enjoyable is appropriate for a movie with such a serious topic but this is a great movie nonetheless. Far removed from the blockbuster cinema. Instead of showing us the umpteenth depiction of the battle of soandso this tells a great story about what people did during the war under the threat of loosing their life. Absolutely worth watching.

Also, Daniel Brühl seems to have find his nichè. I think that´s the third movie in a row where I saw him playing the unlikeable German.

Very good film with amazing performance by Jessica Chastain. Although due to the topic of the film not an easy watch.

The errors of historical coherence, the low acting skills and evident budget deficiency are slightly blatant. But generally, the film was supposed to show the heroism of Żabińskis' and it has done it well.

Well, that wasn't the film I was expecting. Despite the cosy picture on the film's poster, do not go into this if you cried at films such as Marley and Me. The Nazi atrocity wasn't confined to the human race! Still, a worthy film, exploring another wartime story that I knew little about. Traumatic, but that's how it should be.
