Sam Ellis is a man on the rise — a hot-shot federal prosecutor on the cusp of a bright political future. But what was meant to be a one-time experience with an escort turns into a growing addiction — a new demon threatening to destroy his life, family, and career.
Invokes the idea of moral dilemma of a man with a constructed world of ethics or his primal pleasure.
Does pleasure take priority over one's responsibilities, that's what the narrative of the movie revolves around. The acting was brilliant, and most of the extreme close-up shots makes you peep into the mind of a man whose morality keeps on falling.
However, the ending seems rather abrupt and forced. It could have been done better.
