We better get a sequel or miniseries out of this! Was awesome in theaters! Blood guts and comedy with a side of heroism lmao what a blast

Macon Blair’s reboot keeps the Troma spirit but gives it propulsive superhero swagger. Winston Gooze, janitor and struggling dad, gets nuked into Toxie and turns vigilante, thwacking goons and corporate slime while trying to protect his kid. Peter Dinklage anchors the pathos, Kevin Bacon hams it up as a cartoon tyrant, and Elijah Wood slithers in as a grotesque sidekick. It’s gleefully gross, fast, and weirdly sweet about community and responsibility. Festival crowd-pleaser written in luminous green.

If you liked… Deadpool & Wolverine, Super and classic Troma chaos.

The Toxic Avenger stays true to the absurdity of the original while still inventing its own identity. Peter Dinklage is great as Winston, though less convincing as Toxi. The film leans too heavily on CGI when it would have benefitted from greater practical effects, and it could have been more effective in the offbeat humor that made the franchise iconic. Still fun, if low-brow B-horror comedy is your jam.

In the least Americas poor healthcare acesss atleast gave us Toxie!

Where was the sleaze?! What was the point? I understand that a Toxic Avenger movie is suppose to be bad but that doesn’t mean it should suck.
