This is a very good movie. People rating this as low because they are too strong to not be scared or something like that should just grow up.

Very good horror movie, actor did it well, and the history is good, and make it awesome how has been told.

Very creepy movie. The way everything is set up and filmed, it just feels extremely unsettling. The mystery in itself is introduced right away, and then it just latches on to you and keeps you craving the answer all the way up to the end.

But do you get the answer? Well. I'd say not really. But in some ways I'd say it doesn't matter much in this movie because the ride there was pretty intense. Which is what horror is all about at its core anyway. The lack of a crystal clear resolution may be a bit annoying, but at the same time it upholds the mysterious tone set throughout the film and it leaves you wondering a bit. Anyway, pretty cool movie.

Even though the film still suffers from whatever that usually holds the found footage subgenre, it has everything that makes the subgenre so terrifying to me. There's no need for anything groundbreaking, just take the tropes and heightens them to perfection, and this film does just that. I personally love watching horror films but for some reason going through haunted house attractions is too scary for me. I went to one when I was 16 and I don't wanna do that shit ever again. This film really captures that feeling and got me really thinking what would happen that would freak me out like shadows in the corner or clowns showing up out of nowhere. That strobe light scene is the best moment! The footage look genuine and these aspects really help the film to feel realistic. A solid film overall and what they're able to do with the budget is really good.

I haven't watched a Found Footage film in a long, long time so when I heard about Hell House LLC and found out what it was about, I was interested. It's about those populair Haunted Houses and a group of friends setting one up in a old Hotel with history behind it.

We see the documentary about and and like a third in, we really starting to see the found footage and it is done well. Bit by bit you discover more and more. And another good thing is that most of the cast is likeable! We do get your standard talking to the wall, a bit to many of the same scares and a deadly end.

But there are a few really, nerve wrecking scenes done very well! Even if I watched it in the morning. (Too tired last night when I got home from work to watch it in the night). The cast is acting well too for a Found Footage film! And you want to know how the mystery unfolds, so Hell House got that going for it!

I do believe there was more potential left on the table, which is a sad thing but it is very, very enjoyable! And I really, really liked it and soon after seeing it, I recommended it to a few colleagues. Which says a lot right? So if you are looking for a Found Footage film to watch this Halloween season, this is one I can recommend!

Like a hug from a killer clown: gripping and satisfying.

This had everything I love about found footage and not many of the things I hate. If you're a found footage slut like me, this one holds up.

This movie has a decent amount of scares, creepiness is great and it has a real Blair Witch feel to it. Even with no explanation and an open ending, this is a really enjoyable horror flick

3 Thoughts After Watching ‘Hell House LLC’:

1. There was no new ground broken here. This particular road was paved long ago by _The Blair Witch Project_ and _Paranormal Activity_. But what I really enjoyed with this movie was the WAY the story was told… how all the details unfolded, the documentary style, the full circle reveal. Again, this wasn’t necessarily primo filmmaking, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t supremely sucked in to the mystery of it all.

2. I’m not always a fan of endings that are left open for interpretation, mysteries that aren’t fully explained… but I’m kinda okay with it here. We didn’t really get ANY answers, but I feel we were given enough story to be intrigued by what was missing, as opposed to being solely frustrated by it. But I do wanna know more!

3. I thought it was pretty creepy! The scares were super subtle but effective. A few “blink-and-you’ll-miss-it” moments. No reliance on crazy effects. An eerie setting worthy of some quality Halloween viewing. And one super freaky mask. I’m here for it.

There’s not a lot of Found Footage movies that are great like let’s say The Blair Witch Project but this one outdid itself in so many ways. Right from the get-go it sets the mood and as the story progresses, more pieces of the puzzle come together. The movie left me feeling uneasy the very moment the crew decided to spend their first night at ‘Hell House’. From that moment on weird stuff starts happening. What I really love is that there’s no jumpscares with like really loud music or sound effects, it’s the subtlety of seeing someone in the back move or someone appear which makes you feel uncomfortable and this movie does that so well. In moments when you least expect it, you will see something in the corner of your eye or just in one shot before the camera pans away. It’s so incredibly done when you pay attention to these tiny details. 8/10 from me. Definitely recommended!

I had never heard of this movie until approximately 30 minutes before watching. A low budget, found footage film that could be awful. Surprisingly it really works as a horror film. It’s not going to be for everyone, and it certainly has its flaws. It IS creepy. It IS engaging. And that’s all I want in a horror movie. This obviously shares similarities to things like Blair Witch and Paranormal Activity, and personally I think it’s better than ANY Paranormal Activity. It’s really solid and worth watching for horror fans.
