Great movie, one of those movies people underestimate because people want the movie to be accurate to the game but i love it the way it is, very funny too. Going to be part of my favourite collection. Great to see most of my favourite actors are part of the movie and made it great, funny while it being colourful too. Thank you for making this movie.

Realistically, I never thought it would be this pretty. I had low expectations, but they made a very good movie. It's fun, action-packed, funny, and fantastic. The acting is good, the effects are great, and the script is very, very good. I say seriously, it's one of the rare movies I've had fun watching lately. That robot in particular was very beautiful and funny. Hopefully, the second movie will come out. This movie is one of my favorites because it exceeds my expectations and is a genre that I love. Good luck with your efforts. If anyone is thinking of watching it, don't think about it. Directly open and watch. Definitely give it a shot.

Unpopular opinion, but I loved this movie!! I'm obsessed with the games but I still liked the movie. Alot of people go in thinking the movie is going to be the exact storyline as the games and that's their issue. I've already played the games, I know that storyline, I don't need that exact storyline in the movie.

I feel like the cast was good and parts were great. Benjamin Davis was a perfect Marcus. Ariana Greenblatt did a great job as Tiny Tina. The rest of the cast (Cate, Kevin, Jamie, Gina) I was iffy about but I feel like they all did a wonderful job portraying their characters. Finally, best of all was Jack Black as Claptrap...he killed that role!!

10 out or 10 and I'll definitely watch it again, buy the DVD, and hope sequels come out!! Amazing movie!!

P.S. So happy my favorite cosplayer, Jessica Nigri, got to have a part in one of her favorite franchises next to her favorite character to cosplay as!!

Had a great time, got Mad Max vibes but with Clap-Trap, farts and glorious meat soup. 10/10 would watch again on the TV when it's out. Also: casting Kate Blanchett as Lilith was incredible!

Never played the game. But as a film, it's campy, comic book sci fi. Was pretty fun, interesting variety of characters, interesting world and background that I'd like to know more about if there were ever a sequel.

Never played the video games associated with this film, but it's like Halo I'm guessing. To adapt to a film or show isn't the same as game play. You can't take every storyline within the games and make a good show or film. Something have to be cut and others have to be added.

That being said, I wasn't expecting much. Campy? Yes. Comic book/gothic novel-eaque? Yes. Was I expecting much more? Not really, but that's enough for me to watch once.

It was pretty good actually. It moved quickly. The acting was pretty good given this is all very fantasy and little else. But by the end, I was thinking this falls into those cult films like Rocky Horror or Clerks. If you like that kind of sleeper hit that you expect to go see in a special theatre showing with everyone dressed up as their favorite character? This is totally it!!

I would've put more time into the ending scenes, a little more depth in leading up to the final fight. But these cult style films often are shortened by the producers, film companies, whoever to stay within a certain run time.

8/10 for the average film goer who likes the comic book characters. 9/10 if you get into those cult classics, as I expect this to be one.

Never played the game, enjoyed the film.

I have heard of the video game that 'Borderlands' is based upon, though my knowledge of it doesn't extend past that one and only fact. I knew nothing else about it, so I can't comment on this in regards how well it adapts the game. As a movie though, I did get the required enjoyment from it.

Sure the story could've been greater, but what's produced kept me watching all the way through - it's a watchable flick. I did like the cast and characters, all of whom I found suitably interesting. Cate Blanchett is good fun in the lead role, Kevin Hart is perhaps a tad underused but satisfactory nonetheless, while Ariana Greenblatt impresses.

Jack Black is the one I enjoyed most, admittedly that's no surprise given I am a fan of that guy as an actor. I will say that his character is the opposite of Hart's Roland, in that I think the filmmakers should've utilised him less - he does get a bit too much screen time for a side character. However, as it's Black voicing Claptrap I can't possibly say I didn't like seeing him.

now looks to see how this has been received thus far Well, shit. Granted, I do see the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' attempted resemblance.

I’m a simple guy - give me a sci-fi movie with some action and fun, and I’ll watch it. It's not the greatest movie, but I enjoyed it.

I had zero expectations for this movie based upon so many negative reviews and poor ratings. I never played the games, but I really had fun watching this. Action, fun, a bit of a predictable outcome, but that is to be expected of a movie of this caliber
