I don't understand why it has so poor ratings, it was really good, Leonardo did amazing (and looked equally amazing lol)!
those were two very problematic minds
i’m the only bitch serving cunt here 😭😭😭 omg 😭 i’m soooo embarrassed 😭😭
-Leo Dicaprio while filming this movie
Talk about a love triangle! The consept of the movie is brilliant, Leo's acting was of course faultless but I feel the production suffered. David Thewlis' conflict with himself, especially when drunk is interesting. I feel like they skipped major areas, which just left me confused. They would skip 3 weeks and then 2 years and then 4 months and to properly appreciate the emotion and struggle, these were key factors. It was skipping from destination to destination, both literally and in the character's lives and I feel all the wrong moments were focused on, whilst the ones that mattered were overshadowed. It's a poorly written film that doesn't capture emotion the way it should until the last 10-15 minutes. I understand it's based on a true story and they have to follow facts but there was no 'feel' to the script, nothing that captured me.
i liked the movie. i expect to watch it again knowing more about rimbaud, it got me more instered in him.
