Knight and Day

Sem Tom Cruise, sem Cameron Diaz nem a nagy kedvenceim, de ebben a filmben ütnek rendesen (és nem csak szószerint :D). A kémia közöttünk nagyon jó volt. A sztori humoros, pörgős. Én nagyon bírtam. Tipikusan az a kedvenc filmem, amit megtudnék nézni ezerszer.

Don't understand the hate this one seems to get. Is it a perfect movie? No.

Is it a fun movie? Hell yes. Not everything has to be a magnificent cinematic achievement. Sometimes it's nice to have a movie to just vege out in front of and have a laugh. This definitely delivers that.

Started off really funny and all in all was a really pleasant movie.
Each time I saw Tom Cruise topless I puked in my mouth a little, though.

I remember watching Knight and Day in the Cinema. back in 2010. According to Trakt, I have watched this again in 2023 as well. However, when I watched this today (2025) it hit different. I laughed a lot. There were many instances where the comedy was introduced through dialogue. "Don't follow me, if you do, I'm going to kill myself and then her!". That line caught me by surprise. I didn't expect a line like that from Tom Cruise outside of Tropic Thunder.This is such a goofy action comedy with Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz pairing quite well on-screen.

I'm not one for rom-coms so if I manage to love one then you know it has to be at least good. James Mangold has always managed to make action feel fresh, constantly ending each take with a cherry on top. 'You're timing is sublime'. The Tom Cruise charm works with almost everyone he's ever worked with, including Diaz. They're both simple yet stellar, stupid yet smart, sexy yet suspicious, serious yet satirical, it's the whole package. To add on Viola Davis, Peter Sarsgaard, and Paul Dano is a bonus. Plot twists, a whole story, a fair pace, large sequences, beautiful locations, smart editing and a vibe of a score. Too many reasons for me to not love it.

the most thing that should be talked about within this movie is the chemistry between Cameron Diaz and Tom cruise like SO GOOD

it's also a very enjoyable movie, such a sweet romance and a satisfying comedy

i really went into this to make use of my amazon prime membership but holy heck it was enjoyable! cameron and tom worked really well together! so much fun!
