I’m late on this but Mancini shows how the legacy sequel is done, super fun movie that brings back some classic characters while adding a nice twist to the existing mythology. The kills are all a lot of fun with some nice gore and Chucky is firing on all cylinders. Really enjoyed it and I’m glad I put the series on hold to catch up with everything that came before.

Chucky goes psychological horror in the cuckoo's nest and mass hysteria settles in as every patient thinks a killer doll is alive. Love the asylum setting and the snow that's always a bonus. The kills are more gory and bloody than your usual Chucky movie which is a big improvement and they were all excelently crafted (except for the glass one it felt kinda fake). The psychological horror elements were a nice addition and played well with the story. There's also a few unexpected twists along the way and the third act was a blast. The fan service is through the roof, be prepared to see lots of familiar faces from previous movies. Fiona Dourif is electric especially in the last third, she needs to be in more movies! After credits was amazing, again. I feel like this is the entry that brings the entire franchise together and makes everything fit together and it did a great job at that.

One of the best entries in the series, with _LOTS_ of connections to pretty much every previous entry (be sure to stay for another awesome post credits scene cameo). However the plot is a tad convoluted and I’m still not 100% sure I totally understand the mechanics of what was going on, and there isn’t really an ending to this movie, it kinda just...ends outta nowhere with nothing really wrapped up. But it’s hell of a lot of fun, gory as fuck, Alex Vincent back as an adult Andy was great, Fiona Douriff was even more amazing this go around than last (and she was already fantastic there too), and overall this was just a huge surprise that I enjoyed it as much as I did. Even better than the previous entry, which I already enjoyed quite a bit. Out of 7 entries in this series there’s only really one I can say I hated (Seed), and that’s not bad at all for a horror franchise.

I don't watch Chucky films because of the plot, the acting, or the cohesiveness of the stories. I don't watch slasher films for any of those reasons, for that matter, because most of them are not meant to be appreciated for those qualities. Most of them are just silly, self-ridiculing, and so bad that they're good. Why anyone would review or rate such films based on the quality of any of those factors is baffling to me.

This is the most I've liked a Chucky film since the original one. It's ridiculously funny and it also had a nice aesthetic, very clean and sleek. There's actually no plot to speak of; it just seems like they did it on the go, which is exactly what you'd expect from a Chucky film at this point. They still need to work on Chucky's expressions and effects, but hey, it was funny and there were some nice kills.

Bottom line is: it's not so bad that it's boring and it makes you feel like you're completely wasting your time. It makes for a good Sunday movie night film to watch with one's family and have a little fun commenting on how silly it is.

Okay... that was a pretty gonzo movie. Some of starts to get a little too convoluted and ridiculous. It kinda felt like they were trying a little too hard to earn their title. Also not a big fan that at this point they seem to be relying on them getting another movie with the cliffhangers. There is some cool stuff in it though, and it's pretty atmospheric.

Hmm. One of those sequels where I doubt that anyone asked for it. Mediocre

This is the worst part for me why no ending and why more than one Chucky ? Part 1-3and the bride of chucky was the best good story and erverything was new.

Some decent kills for series fans but overall it's pretty bad. Terrible use of one character in particular. Disappointing, but has some fun moments here and there.
