This film really conveys conflicting emotions: you can laugh but at the same time you can even cry.
The story of Robin and Diana Cavendish is a teaching for everyone's life and the fact that their son Jonathan makes this film even more special.
I'm really sorry that it was so underrated...
A truly remarkable story, well scripted and performed, is based on the life of Robin and Diana Cavendish and produced by their son, Jonathan. Claire Foy and Andrew Garfield lead a great supporting cast. Great themes about life, death, love, faithfulness, the courage it takes to live and the tenacity of love that pushes the boundaries of courage and creativity. I heartily recommend it to you. I give this film an 8 (great) out of 10. [Drama].
The film made me laugh, the film made me cry; this heartwarming film sometimes took my breath away. Kudos to Garfield for an exceptional performance, and to Serkis for bringing this true story to the screen.
I was told of this movie when it became a choice in my Movie Club. I started it and the old timey vibe paired with it being a romance drama, I had my doubts. I couldn't have been more wrong! Andrew Garfield once again showcases his great range in a movie that was a captivating true tale!

Heartbreaking, emotional and heartwarming.
I feel like the story of Robin and Diana Cavendish is one of importance but ultimately is executed weakly. Andrew Garfield is fantastic - being bedridden for a good 2/3 of the film and Claire Foy brings in the emotional side especially in the last 1/3. However, the film jumps between years at such a fast pace that I felt like I was missing out on important parts of his life as we are introduced to more and more characters and I soon couldn’t remember who was who. It’s not a bad film by any means but I just wanted more.
**You cannot love someone in a life like Diana did!**
Most people might not find this movie a good watch
as this is a real freaking story
and you don't get much twists, but
==only love== and this movie has by far more than any other cringey shit show!
Felt like the theory of everything.
Never have I felt as much emotions in a film before as much as I did here.
