Very well executed animation based on a Jacques Tati script. Although there are many laughs in this movie, it is very much a sad movie. However, it is a very enjoyable watch and the animators' art is fantastic. I struggle to imagine how this movie could have successfully been made as live action, the medium of animation suits it perfectly. Watch it for the art, have a cry, have a laugh.
