As the poster suggests, the movie is very anti animal cruelty, even more so anti hunt. The foggy forest makes the ambiance very heavy since the start.
The end was a bit predictable to me, however [spoiler]I liked how Duszejko emphasized her crazy old lady image to get away with murder.[/spoiler]
