It's like Apollo 11 but in russian version. Very well done, and very interesting for having a complete different rhythm.
It's interesting seeing russian exaggerated propaganda when you are used to see the exaggerated propaganda of USA, but that makes it more fun to watch.

An exciting story about a Russian space mission. The dramaturgy and animation are of international caliber. Even if the true story was slightly modified for the plot, this movie presents a splendid and thrilling story in the style of =="Apollo 13"== and =="Gravity"== with a Russian touch. `[7/10]`
This was fine... a serviceable though far inferior Russian version of Gravity.
The case real life story of the mission to get Salyut-7 operational again is beyond fascinating, and a genuinely huge accomplishment in the history of space flight.
That alone makes the movie worth watching, which is why the added conflict and melodrama were more distracting and annoying than entertaining.
It's a decent space movie due simply to the unique events it covers. Without that caveat, there are far better film out there in same genre.
Maaaan what a well done movie. It may be no Gravity and it might be an over-dramatisation of what happened to Salyut 7 but still! Production wise this is right up there and if anything it at least might make you read up on the Salyut and Soyuz (esp. Soyuz 11) programs. Good stuff!
