Very well thought out and executed - great acting for such young people! Didn't rely on jump scares to be creepy!

Exactly what I like and seems so difficult to find - a plausible scare without gore that doesn't wimp out on the ending AND actually makes me care what happens to the characters. Also in this one, I get why they are where they are -no one is sleeping in an abandoned mental asylum. No need for tons of special effects, this was very good. Not perfect - but very good.

The Spanish word for "ouija" is "ouija", which could explain why there's no difference between this ouija board film and every other ouija bored film ever made. Fortunately, the (based on a true) story is well told, the directing is deft, and the lead -- 16-year-old Sandra Escacena -- was nominated for a Goya for Best New Actress. Fans of the genre will enjoy _Verónica_ if they're not too demanding.

All around not a horrible movie, if you are looking to be scared and watch a lot of horror movies this will not scare you. It was good enough to keep my attention.

That Warren style well-worn story, those kids actors very well stories of others meaningless for what they do. It is clear that you do not have to play with the Ouija but you know what you do and even if you know it too

There is something in these Spanish horror movies, whether they're fictional like REC or based on some actual story like this.

The articles about how scary this movie is were certainly paid for. Very basic movie. Though Sandra Escacena is a far superior actress to your average scream queen.
