Panic Room

Trapped in their New York brownstone's panic room, a hidden chamber built as a sanctuary in the event of break-ins, newly divorced Meg Altman and her young daughter Sarah play a deadly game of cat-and-mouse with three intruders - Burnham, Raoul and Junior - during a brutal home invasion. But the room itself is the focal point because what the intruders really want is inside it.

I really like this film. I find it amusing, entertaining, thrillig and exciting. The music is perfect in every scene. The acting is simply great. I get there are some clichés but they don't bother me. And I just thought this film could have been a covid film, you know? One of those films with one locations and few people when we were locked down.

**Get inside and shut the door.** Peak Fincher. The creative camera work, captivating shots and unique perspectives make for a great, tension-filled ride. Performances are spot on and make the story. Loved the editing. _Must watch._

Panic room, check! Once again I have watched David Fincher's work and I must say that I still like the film very much. It manages to create an extreme atmosphere in the smallest of spaces. The actors are superbly chosen, most notably Forest Whitaker as a rather involuntary criminal with a heart, Jodie Foster as a protector who overcomes her own fears and a very young Kristen Stewart who fits like a fist in the eye of rebellious youth.

Simple idea executed perfectly. Fincher's cinematography and proper usage of CGI make every moment of film entertaining. One of the best psychological thrillers I've ever watched.

the cinematographic of the scenes are incredible, for the viewer creates the feeling of being trapped, even before they actually are. I also like the dramatic scene at the end where the money is flying in the end, all of this work and not there nothing. or even, it may be worth $20 million but now is just paper flying in a storm which I think is very poetic.

I didn't even know Kristen Stewart did movies in 2002. Jodie Foster was great as was Kristen Stewart. I wish Jodie starred in more movies these days but now she usually directs movies. Panic Room was a thrilling movie. it's a good watch. I wish I had a panic room set up in my house like it was in that brownstone. The ending of Panic Room while satisfying was a little strange. what happened to the black guy? what about the money? still a solid watch though. I recommend it.

>"How do you live in New York and not have a single percocet?"

Ok, I have almost watched every Finch movie (sorry Mank, it will be a while before I consider watching you) and he always seems to captivate me with his shots, script and color grading. This is not your typical house invasion and Jodie Foster is portrayed so well in this.

A simple concept executed well. David Fincher makes this work and keeps you entertained the whole time. A lot of surprising twists. The way the camera moves throughout the house is amazing. It really gives us a feel for the house and makes us claustrophobic. The ending could of been a little better.
