Enjoyed it, even though the ratings are not really great. It is just a normal Jesse Eisenberg movie, being something weird is going to happen.

Amazing. A very original scenario, perfectly executed until the end. It all makes sense, but still leaves a lot of open questions for your imagination.

The main actors are ok, they do the job, but the supporting ones are amazing. The whole beginning sequence with Martin is so weird and hilarious, a perfect intro into the movie. The kid is also creepy as fuck, with a little help from voice over he's just perfect.

The design of the house is also the perfect fit of trying to create something ideal but with no understanding of how things are supposed to be, the whole thing is uncanny valley to the max, just as much as Martin is.

And the whole situation raises lots of questions, what's the correct behavior ? It's rapidly obvious that
the kid is not human
, so what do you do ? Can you trust them ? Are you sure you'll be released ? Are you helping
an alien invasion
or something like that ? Should you not stop it ? Or maybe the other way around, if you manage to raise the kid normally, with love and everything, there's a chance it would end up being a good thing ?
What if you
killed it
? So many other scenarios to try other than the one chosen by the characters.

Do everybody behave the same way ?
Does everybody dig their own grave ?
How many instances ? How many time did this happen ?

So yeah, not only is this a very original, complete and captivating story, the whole concept is just genious and leave so many other possibilities to think about when the movie ends. It's new, it's weird, it's fun. Definitely a masterpiece.

How you interpret this movie goes a long way. Personally I loved it but I see where the bad reviews come from. Its mysterious and pretty creepy and it makes your mind go wild during the film. Definitely worth a watch if you're willing to think about it with an open mind.

The movie isn't just sci-fi or horror, it's a deep dive into absolute nightmare of the perfect suburban dream. It's creepy, dark & gripping from the get-go, pulling you into its unsettling world without a single boring moment.
Its predictive yet remains captivating. Seeing Tom start digging that hole? You know where it's headed. That creepy kid? The ultimate replacement for their future. It's also very confusing and makers don't reveal, they could've some.
Genius of Vivarium lies in its metaphors. That silent neighborhood? The ultimate rat race. The rapidly growing child? A terrifying portrayal of societal expectations. Tom’s futile digging? It serves up uncomfortable truths with a side of surreal dread.
Jesse Eisenberg & Imogen Poots absolutely nailed the trapped couple, Tom & Gemma. They make you feel every bit of their hopeless situation. You can almost smell fake grass & feel weight of their futile escape attempts. Pure class acting.
If you haven't seen Vivarium, prepare to question everything. A visually striking, thought-provoking film that stays with you long after credits roll.
Just if they should have explained a little.
Can you dare to step into Yonder?

Great
I was pleasantly surprised
With this one as I'm
not a fan at all of both
the main leads.
But the story and their
Performances sold it
to me and in the end
won me over.
Could it have been better
Yes, especially with a cool
Concept like that.
Was it a waste of my time
No....it was not.
I'm a sucker for these
Types of stories and I
thought this one was
So bloody interesting
and mysterious,
not really seen this
Type of scenario before
so kudos for uniqueness.
Verdict: Mind Fcuk
In A Good Way.
