Definitely liked this movie more than To All the Boys I've Loved Before but Sierra and Veronica should have gotten together.
This is new and beautiful. This will give you heartache and butterflies at the same time. A modern chick flick with a big lesson. The ending could be much better. I love this better than The Kissing Booth and To All the Boys I've Loved Before. LOL
I loved it !! This is such an adorable movie, and yes, my favorite part is hands down the relationship between Sierra and Veronica, which I noticed right away in the trailer. Yay for subverting the popular girl-mean girl trope and for having such a beautiful, positive female friendship take the stage!
And I know people are saying they wish Sierra hadn't gotten the guy at the end, but nah man, I love me some cutesy romance.
Adorable and predictable adaptation of "Cyrano de Bergerac". The relationship between Sierra and Veronica is the real love story of the movie.
I actually really enjoyed this netflix original movie! It was the right combination of comedy and romance!
Im just here for Noah Centineo haha !
It was very cliché, but well... I liked. I watched the movie because of the lyrics of the music "sunflower", whom I listened by recommendation from Spotify. A happy founding in the end.
It's a very cute movie featuring a great main character who is a horrible person, a secondary character who was supposed to be a horrible person but goes through a believable positive development, and their lovely friendship. The soundtrack is great too, as expected from a piece with such a John Hughes influence.
I knew Shannon Purser from Stranger Things, and I was kind of expecting Sierra and Barb to be similar, since they are from the same outcast mold, but they could not be more different. I am impressed with Purser for being able to play such different personalities into the same stereotype. Also, Froseth is so pretty I do not think she is human... maybe she is from an advanced alien race, taking a vacation on Earth?
But going back to "Sierra is a bad person but a great character", oh, wow. I do not think I have ever disliked a rom-com heroine this much, EVER. Specially in a teen movie! Still, it was cute and entertaining, and Noah deserves a main role, soon. Here, it felt like he was there for decoration, which is sad, because he has a lot of charisma on-screen.
Improbable but charming. Talented young performers (Noah Centineo is a rising leading man). I give this film a 7 (good) out of 10 [Teen Romance]
