That was a lot better than I was expecting. The trailer didn't do it enough justice. I knew I'd enjoy it based off the trailer. But now that I've watched it, the trailer seems like it could've been a whole lot better. I feel like this movie will one of those movies that I enjoyed very much and the majority will nitpick at, and that's completely fine. I totally wasn't expecting what I'd call a twist, not completely sure if others will feel the same way, near the end of the movie. And the acting in that scene, after the twist was revealed, was fantastic. From both Mads Mikkelsen and Vanessa Hudgens. Especially hers. I was a bit surprised on how different she looks in real life as opposed to her appearance in the movie. She looks like a completely different person compared to her character. I actually think how she looked in the movie was more attractive than she is in real life, not that she isn't attractive outside of this movie. Anyway, I hope there will be a second movie as the ending did suggest the possibility.

Reminds me of Liam Neeson in Taken. A bit extreme for Netflix but pretty good thus far.

THIS is what a revenge shoot-em-up is supposed to be! Great film. Fantastic acting, great scenery, great story (if not a little predictable), great soundtrack etc. I loved this movie. It has a few plot flaws but nothing that really takes away from the enjoyment. It’s so rare these days to find a movie that keeps my focus for the full length. This one did. Kudos to the team. The people giving this mediocre reviews are the same f’ing knobs that actually believe the Oscars are still relevant.

I'm giving one star less for all the shots missed ;)
Interesting thing is, the protagonist is better (deadlier) than John Wick, though I haven't heard anyone taking about it.
The story is pretty well, the ending is satisfying, overall a very nice movie.
can recommend this movie to anyone who isn't afraid if violence and action, with calm breaks.

Initially hated this then fell in love with it as it unfolded. Beautiful cinematography and design, crazy characters. This isn't a straight action movie by any means, this is an art house stylised gore fest that you'd get if you combined Robert Rodriguez with David Lynch. The contrasting design between the characters is genius and the soundtrack is superb.

Don't get me wrong, this is not a serious movie, it's fun. It sits in a niche of violence, action, fun and style that won't be everyone's cup of tea, but this could be a cult classic.

Well, that was "special". A wonderful romance story of a man and his love for his job. Deep insights into the nature of the human psyche in an awesome scenery. I especially liked the colors - the Red was superb. Characters were deep and I got the feeling that I want to spend an evening with each of them. A movie for the whole family!

Holy shit! Mads Mikkelsen is amazing.

This movie was recommended to me since I liked Ben Affleck’s The Accountant a lot. I wasn't disappointed.

I like it. **Shooting, stabbing, blood everywhere.** (lol) Action scenes are pretty cool, and there are plenty of comedic moments that got me chuckling. _(And while we're at it, nudity. Honestly, a bit overkill for me, but after finished watching, none of that's stuck in my head, so I could let that one slide.)_ Didn't expect [spoiler]THAT ending[/spoiler], would love to see what happens next (with a second movie), but I'm OK if they leave things as is.
Can see why the authorities where I live would have a few problems with this film ~~(thanks for bringing it up to my attention 😏)~~. But in the end, I'm not them, and I had a pretty great time.
