Skarsgård killed his role. Absolutely fantastic acting.
The whole idea of just doing that for gaining a millisecond down was thrilling. The acting was superb and the story was really good, kept you to want more. There is no action, but a plain descent story telling with good premise and strong fundamentals .
Jesse Eisenberg and Alexander Skarsgard are great in this, so is Michael Mando. Selma Hayek plays herself as in all her movies. I found Eisenberg’s character depressing but overall it was good. Nice Amish touch towards the end.
The subject matter didn't thrill me - fibre-optic cable deals don't get my pulses racing - but this is still a decent film, and that is because of the interesting characters within, and the actors who inhabit them.
