One of the best things I've ever seen. If you're at all considering watching this, do yourself a favor and dive in. It's stunning.
This is like a doc version of boyhood but more intimate and unnerving as the director looks back on his own life and his friends' lives. It's about coming to terms with the hauntings of the past and starting to move over them.
A deeply touching and intriguing documentary about the lives of three middle-class American friends. The director wisely weaves in themes of social issues, racism, childhood trauma, and the effects of broken families throughout the film. Unlike most documentaries, it gets better and better as it progresses. Totally recommended!
A good documentary that's about much more than just skateboarding.
