This could have been a brutal, slick thriller. Instead it ambles along and deadens the pace. There are a few good moments but it could have been better.

I think this was meant to be more of a character study/drama than an action/thriller movie. As an Action/Thriller, it utterly failed. However, as a character study, it was just OK. Personally, I find most movies/shows about the IRA war (conflict?) to be just sad and depressing.
