I thought the end would be better than that... As expected, we get to see another "place". But that is it. The end doesn't let you imagine that somebody would follow this up.
The "everyone dies and only a couple are left alive" has to be expected too but I didn't hahahaha. I'm surprised I didn't see some things coming lol.
So overall I liked it. The aliens look goood, handsome !
If there is a follow up, I'll be surprised and WILL watch it just to see what happens but lol Seeing the end leaves few options.

Although a low-budget sequel, this was an enjoyable watch. The movies starts a bit awkward with cheesy dialogue. However, once the action starts, it picks up the pass and keeps delivering.
I don't know why but I really kinda enjoyed this for some reason lol
**DOOM**: Annihilation gets a pretty bad rating here. I have to say that the second movie was much closer to the games of that time than the first movie. Overall, I expected a similar level to that of the first film. In this respect, my expectations were exceeded. I enjoyed it.
Considering the fact that this is a Direct-to Video movie, done without the direct involvement of Bethesda/ID Software, I think that it succeed perfectly it's mission: Offering a movie set in the Doom universe without being as a movie telling the story seen in video games.
Now, I must say that while I do consider Doom as one of the most important franchise in video games history, I didn't play much of it so maybe I didn't notice something that true fans with knowledge of the Doom lore would instantanely spot as problematic, but I will repeat myself: this movie wasn't made with the help of Bethesda or ID Software.
Really, my biggest annoyance is that the main character created for this movie is one syllable away from having the same name as Joanna Dark, the main protagonist of another popular FPS video game franchise, Perfect Dark, owned by Rare (Microsoft) ... I mean, if you are going to create a movie based on a FPS franchise with a new main character, the least you can do is not use a name similar to another main character from another FPS franchise...
Mix of Doom and Aliens, sometimes dark so that the low budget is not noticeable, but a lot of action, many nods to the game and all the weapons come out. It's better than 2005
i mean the cgi was pretty fun?
They've tried a few times to bring this popular arcade game to life and it sadly fails, this try is OK nothing more it's a bit long winded at times and to quick in other aspects of the movie the opening at the end leaves it open for a return for dark and what's left of her squad, I tried to enjoy it but it had so much potential but sadly it lacks
Another promising premise that went down to become a failure. Plenty of wooden acting at times. The ending couldn't be more cliched! I wished it was more like Dwayne Johnson's Doom!
