Ana de Armas _**the woman that you are.**_

it's been a great experience revisiting the world of John Wick from this point of view, and they truly delivered, overdelivered even, i can only imagine all the effort and training sessions that went into this movie, plus all the practical stunts that were performed? **holy hell.**

flame thrower scenes? insanity.

navigating a whole kill squad with only a handful of grenades? the creativity is endless. kaboom.

& i absolutely love how they teased this movie with none other than John Wick, and he's been everywhere i get it, & i was hoping they won't make him appear for just half a minute like other movies that did a similar thing, they actually did very well with including John in this one, they obviously didn't give him all the screen time, or wrote him off as weak when fighting the main character Eve, they just it Just. Right.

enough screen time, good fights as always, and the way he literally was able to kill her 3 times but kept telling her to just leave. very well written, loving it.

-when Eve was running the enemies down with that flamethrower as the top down shot is ongoing, holy hellll that was one of my favorites
-also, when John does that tap-tap shot on two enemies, the way he moved as he switches his aim from one target to another, the camera moved with him, that was AMAZING.
-the little bit of screentime where we saw Norman Reedus, yet still it was enjoyable, him & his shotgun, god damn.
-the overall look and color / vibe of the movie, i felt like i'm literally back in the world of John Wick instantly.

such a fun film, can't wait to see more of it.

Today was my first time watching a movie in an Isense screening it really made the experience worthwhile watching a John Wick remake. The surround sound and the big screen really fit this kind of movie. It also was my first time watching a John Wick movie in general and me realise I should watch the other John Wicks. I will be going to an Isense screening again for another movie, also will be trying an IMAX screening as well at some point. In my personal opinion I feel like John Wick fans will really enjoy this installment. It stands on its own and they did a good job overall developing the characters and the world-building. The movie was very well shot, the acting was excellent, the action was phenomenal, and there were some very interesting thematic elements throughout the movie. The theater was shaking with all the crazy action sequences and the sound editing was phenomenal. Ana De Armas peformance fit the John Wick style really well, would love to see her in further instalments as John Wick, maybe working alongside him as well at some point. Personally my only negative with this movie was probably that they could have developed Eve's sister more. They also forced John Wick into the movie without giving him motives for being involved (though John helping Eve take out the cult leader was cool). It also felt like Eve became a super assassin a little bit too quickly after she was taken in by the Ruska Roma as a child. Some of the bloodier shots of the movie could have been cut.

Overall, I really liked it and I hope there will be more Ballerina films made.

So much to love about this film. The action, the fights and the kills are all awesome. Set pieces are great.

I also love that Len Wiseman is back directing a great action film. Underworld will always be a special film to me. Anne Parillaud, the original Nikita is in this film, and that is so awesome. Love Le Femme Nikita. This film slaps.

"Ballerina," from the John Wick Universe, Was a Real Surprise!
The story is set in the same universe as "John Wick," specifically between the third and fourth films. It follows a young woman who loses her family in a tragic incident and is taken in by the "Ruska Roma," who begin training her to become one of their professional assassins. Over time, she discovers a small clue that leads her to the truth behind her family's murder, and she begins her journey of revenge against the group responsible.

And since this film is from the world of "John Wick," don't expect anything realistic… The action is fantastical and defies the limits of logic, which is exactly what makes the film so much fun! The direction, the music, and the fight scenes were beyond imagination. The action is incredibly varied, from regular handguns to flamethrowers and even water cannons! A strange arsenal, but enjoyable in its own unique way.

As for the acting, Ana de Armas was terrific. Her performance was top-notch, and she proved that she can carry a film all on her own. The appearance of "John Wick" (The Boogeyman!) also gave the film a special touch and connected it more strongly to the original series.

In all honesty, the film was phenomenal in every aspect. So far, I can say it's one of the best films of the year for me.

Rating: 9/10

An exciting action film for anyone who loves the "John Wick" universe or is looking for unconventional action.

Fits John Wick spin off perfectly, Ana de Armas can kick ass for sure. Could have explored her story better, yet, gave enough of it to make a small build up for the character. Kinda wanna leave it like this without more movies to came, but without JW highly doubt they wont stretch this into at least one more.

You legitimately can't go wrong with the John Wick franchise if all you're looking for is amazing choreography and fun action sequences. This film is legit 90% action and 10% story and that's perfectly fine because let's be honest, that's all we come to this franchise for. Ana de Armas was great here and that final act was some of the hypest shit I've seen in theaters in a while. Flamethrower carnage 🔥🔥🔥. There's issues here and there, but I had a blast with this so they are easily pushed aside. Watch it if you enjoy the John Wick franchise, you won't be sorry.
