One of the best serbian movies ever!
I watched this one more or less by accident at the 2019 Filmanak Serbian Film Festival in Stuttgart and I was pleasantly surprised. This is a very decent crime thriller, that manages to deliver with very good quality production value. The plot follows the different agendas of various factions (in order of appearance: the local car mafia, some international drug mafia and the local, corrupt police force) surrounding a drug deal going wrong, which is in itself nothing new and it doesn't add anything groundbreaking either.
Although feeling quite a bit "westernized", there's a lot of grittiness left in between the lines and a few select shots with gratuitous violence, that make it stand out from similar movies Hollywood might have spat out.
Plus the anti-hero protagonist doesn't do the old redemption thing but just stays who he is, which was a big plus for the ending.
How do i watch this?
