Believe Me: The Abduction of Lisa McVey

I recommend this movie, I mistakenly judged before I watched. I thoroughly enjoyed it, the actors were excellent and the story was sad and frightening. I had previously read and watched a tv program about this man I’m happy that Lisa is doing well.

It's great story that's makes you feel sad and at the end so proud
that's so good although it was very disgusting how much people didn't believe her at first
but at the end there is a good person

Love this movie. Based on a the true story of Lisa McVey who was the victim of a kidnapping and more. This isn't a spoiler because it's a true story, but she escapes and provides so much detail about the events that they catch the guy. Really an amazing young woman who went on to become a police officer in real life to help others.

For being a television movie, I thought this was pretty successful. The story is compelling enough to be interesting in whatever medium it is presented in, and that’s certainly the case here.

Was this the worst Lifetime movie? No. Was it the best? Definitely not. But I'm so glad I watched this incredible woman's incredible story. #HeroStatus

The fact that this movie is based on a true story makes it so much more emotional to watch. The actual lady who went through this ordeal showed excellent self-control and insight in following the journey taken by the abductor and then leaving trace evidence of her being there. All in all an amazing movie if you’re a true crime fan I would definitely recommend !!

OMG, who wrote this synopsis?!

I have questions. She wrote a suicide note, she was going to take her life, why wouldn’t she just say no to all the things the kidnapper said and he would have killed her and then she wouldn’t have had to go through HELL. Also her whole family failed her also why is Katie Douglas always in kidnapping documentaries!

This movie has a good, strong message and gets it across very well, it’s honestly amazing. I watched it once and that was it though, quite a heavy movie
