Great movie with a nice twist.

Very tense, very thrilling, however: this movie is not for the faint of heart, or those with low attention spans. Good thriller without the action but with tense and thrilling moments. Some parts felt a bit slow, but the third act was strong. Not sure about the ending, but liked the movie overall.
Excellent movie. Takes place in two rooms, and only 90 minutes long. Jake Gyllenhaal is fantastic.
Throughout the movie your opinion about most main characters will change, and at the end the whole meaning of the movie changes, brilliant movie.
Loved this movie. Its basically a one man show staring Jake Gyllenhaal. Its one man on the phone for and hour and a half. Its like the Tom Hardy movie Locke but with way more emotion and alot more at stake. Never saw the foriegn original and never will. 10 years ago Jake would be guaranteed an Oscar nom. But in 2021 this movie will be ignored.
Well, Jake, that was tense!
Not sure how to feel about this. Toes the line of cop apologia. Excellent acting; shot entirely in 2 rooms. No doubt about that. A powerful story when divorced from a real-world context. But, when seen in the context of the stuff happening around us, it leaves me conflicted.
Considering this is a series of phone calls that take place in three different rooms, this is an incredibly gripping and emotional. Absolutely sterling performance from Jake Gyllenhaal!
Haven't seen the original. Thought Jake Gyllenhaal did a fantastic job as expected, even within the limitations of it all being in two rooms. I imagine it's particularly difficult if 90 minutes of film is focused solely on one person's facial expressions.
Perfect for when you want a thriller but don’t care for heavy gore. Def a psychological thriller with Jake at the helm. I’ve seen the original version too and liked it.
But I really liked Jake in this and loved that it’s updated to be relevant in today’s world.
And while I admit if you’re don’t like Jake in lots of close-ups, you won’t like this. I thought he was perfectly cast and I was spellbound.
Great movie with a nice twist.
