I've missed these crazy characters. As usual, the mystery here isn't the focal point, but it's still solid and it still gets solved. No, the focus is the characters and their interactions and, most importantly, the real-world ties that led to this Lassie-centric episode. I can usually tell when a cast is tight, and this group convinced me early on that they got along just fine when the cameras stopped rolling. So it didn't surprise me that they all took Omundson's stroke hard and went out of their way to make him a big part of this one, and I love 'em all for that. And other than a few isolated moments when the comedic timing was showing a bit of rust, this one was otherwise cringe-free and a ton of fun. And man, it was great to see Omundson doing so well after such a serious scare and setback. Here's hoping that he continues to make such an amazing recovery, and I hope that we see another of these movies sooner, rather than later.

A funny but some-what forgettable follow up to the first movie. It is predictable that Juliet isn’t the one pregnant from the start.

A fun, silly new mystery with the old gang. I appreciated that the story was centered on Lassiter this time since Omundson was unable to fully participate in the last movie due to his stroke. I would be totally onboard with the current trend of this cast reuniting to make a movie every three years continuing indefinitely; it's reliable comfort viewing.

I like this follow-up movie better than the first one. It's more fun, more engaging, plus it has Timothy Omundson back.

If you are worried you haven't seen part 1 of this first you don't need to be. This is so not funny that you will be glad you missed any prequelles or sequels or anything even tangentially related.
