"We hongry!" - Roman Pearce, circa 2003 😁

Update (27/Feb/2025) : I was watching this again today. I lost count of how many times Ive rewatched this over the years. I was today old when I realised Cole Hauser (Rip Wheeler from Yellowstone) was in this movie. Dear, Vin Diesel and Taylor Sheridan; please give me the F&F + Yellowstone crossover I never knew I needed until today. :pray_tone2:

From the title alone, it should be clear to you that "2 Fast 2 Furious" is significantly dumber than its predecessor. And, while I am aware that the second installment is regarded as one of the series' worst, I cannot agree. I just love this movie. The candy-colored cars, the music, the Miami vibe, and the "Bad Boys" plot—everything is right up my alley. Is every single actor here trying to be worse than their co-stars? Absolutely! But my attitude towards it is always: 2 much fun 2 care!

"Damn, it's Brian..." This movie is undoubtedly a great sequel to its predecessor. The introduction of new characters, especially Roman Pearce, adds a comedic touch thanks to Tyrese Gibson's excellent performance. Plus, we have Brian O'Conner, portrayed by the legendary Paul Walker, at his peak—what an amazing character! The setting and cars are flawless, perfectly capturing the essence of Fast and Furious, and the city of Miami proved to be the ideal backdrop for the story. Not to mention the soundtrack, which has always been one of my favorite aspects of the franchise. Honestly, I don’t understand why some people dislike this movie—maybe because Dominic Toretto isn't in it?

Missing my FAMILY but still plenty fun. Everyone has great chemistry. Paul Walker I'd follow you anywhere.

Tej is absolutely drowning in his clothes here.

This film was less entertaining than the first film in the franchise. With the entire main cast from The Fast and the Furious not in attendants for 2 Fast 2 Furious except for Walker I felt the film was missing some of its spark because of it. The acting was on the same level as the first and the story line was kind of the same rehashed story the first one had except for two or three changes. Nonetheless even though the cast mostly changed and the kind of same story line is there the eye-popping action this movie delivers was fun and thrilling to watch.
