Death of Me

i actually ended up liking this movie. is it groundbreaking? no. so what? if you look at it more as a mystery movie with a little bit of gore added rather than a "scary horror movie", you'll like it more.

This started out strong then fell apart in pieces. Still an enjoyable watch despite some glaring plot holes.

The movie really picks up with ~45 minutes left, I understand other people's comments about this film, but I found it enjoyable enough to finish and mostly hold my attention. This isn't an award winning film, but not totally overused premise yet in the US, mostly see it in foreign films, and that part doesn't feel like it was done poorly, they pulled it off.

worth it basically for maggie q, who frankly deserves a hotter hemsworth for a costar. having just watched the much more disturbing third day series on hbo, i can't say this movie really adds anything to this particular sub genre. minus maggie q.

Maggie Q was the best part (of course). she tried her best, but the movie was just not good - directing, cinematography, editing and script were all subpar.
[spoiler] plot/story is in the same vein as The Wicker Man or Midsommar [/spoiler]

yawn - saw the whole thing coming right from the start. No surprises here.

Someone else's suggestion here to take a shot whenever she passes out is probably your best option.

Once in every lifetime comes a horror movie so good, and so original, that you will be shuddering in your boots for months. This movie isn't it.
